Rosy Tetra - Hyphessobrycon rosaceus
Origin Lower Amazon, Guyana and Brazil
Maximum Size: Up to 4cm
Care: Conditions (pH 6.0-7.5), the temperature should be 24-28oC.
Feeding: The usual flakes which can be supplemented with, Tubifex worms, water fleas and blood worm.
Breeding: Moderately difficult.
Sexing: The males have longer finnage.
Comments: Active schooling species that likes open swimming areas, ideal for the community with nice colouration. Very peaceful fish and not aggressive.
